How We Work

null

At Pragya Gramotthan Sewa Samiti (PGSS), our work is rooted in the belief that sustainable development is possible only through people’s participation and local ownership. Rather than delivering solutions from outside, we work as facilitators, enabling communities to identify their needs, priorities, and pathways to development.

Our engagement begins with grassroots interaction and trust-building, where we listen to communities and understand local realities. This is followed by institutional strengthening, supporting self-help groups and community institutions to become effective platforms for collective action.

PGSS emphasizes inclusive decision-making, ensuring that women, marginalized groups, and vulnerable households actively participate in development processes. Continuous learning, reflection, and adaptation guide our work, helping us refine strategies and ensure long-term, sustainable impact.
