Adaptive Livelihoods

Helping rural families diversify income and build resilience to change.

What We Do

PGSS works to strengthen adaptive livelihoods for vulnerable rural households by helping them build stable and diverse sources of income. We focus on practical, locally relevant solutions that support families in responding to seasonal uncertainty, climate stress, and economic challenges.

Through skill development and community-based support, we enable women and youth to explore income-generating opportunities that match local resources and market demand. Our approach encourages self-reliance, improves household financial security, and reduces dependency on a single livelihood source.

By working with community groups and local institutions, PGSS ensures that livelihood initiatives are inclusive, sustainable, and designed for long-term resilience—so families can adapt, grow, and move forward with dignity.
